North Battlefield VA Clinic Marks Six Months of Service in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, VA — The North Battlefield VA Clinic is celebrating six months since opening its state-of-the-art, 196,000-square-foot facility, marking a vital milestone for local veterans.

Opened on April 10, 2025, the clinic has already delivered essential healthcare, mental health services, and pharmacy support to more than 28,000 South Hampton Roads veterans.

Michael W. Harper, Associate Director for Operations, emphasized the facility’s commitment to delivering modern, convenient care tailored for the region’s veterans.

The clinic’s phased expansion brings additional specialty care and audiology, with enhanced services like radiology, telehealth, dental, and a full eye clinic expected by January 2026.

Rodney Mills praised staff collaboration for exceeding activation and staffing targets, ensuring readiness for continued growth.

Strategically located at 70 Knells Ridge Road, the clinic eliminates the burden of long commutes, providing vital health services closer to home.
